This review could go on and on, but this short note should accomplish my objective: praise for the above and beyond attitude of this Fairmont.

All were courteous, knowledgeable, and eager to help and make sure my requests were fulfilled, with a noticeable additonal polish rarely seen in hotels these days. Service throughout the hotel was remarkable, from the waiters in the Gold Lounge to the (more importantly) front desk when requesting help on matters. Gold floor checkin on the 14th floor outside the lounge is a welcome respite from the busy lobby and the hosts were fantastic (enthusiastic to say the least). The lounge was remarkable, with drinks service and very good breakfast buffet and evening hors d'oeuvres. Housekeeping and turn down service were gracious and thorough. Bathroom was delightful with all accoutrements along with robes (and house shoes, of course). Bed most comfortable, furnishings tasteful, and plenty of power outlets. Had 'city view' to overlook the centuries old town (I think river views are boring). Old Quebec is a half-hour drive or take the ferry from Lévis. Off Highway 20, we’re five minutes from the Quebec Bridge and 10 minutes from Québec International Airport. Stayed on the Gold Floor and room was elegant, well-done, and classy without being overstated. Visit the Hampton Inn and Suites Quebec City Hotel and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere in the historic Quebec City, ideal for all travelers. The opportunity to finally stay at this iconic hotel arose and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. top-tier hotels, I now have a new standard against which all will be measured - the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City. Having stayed at a few Aman, Four Seasons, etc.
